Repair

When something goes wrong with a pool, it rarely announces itself clearly. A pump that won’t prime, a heater throwing an error code, water dropping faster than evaporation explains, a light that’s gone dark, cloudy water that won’t clear no matter what you add — the symptom is obvious, the cause usually isn’t. Blue Water Pools Construction & Services handles all pool-related repairs for homeowners across Southwest Florida: pumps, motors, filters, heaters and heat pumps, salt systems, automation and controls, lighting, plumbing and valves, leaks, and surface, tile, and coping damage. Our Senior Equipment Technician diagnoses the actual problem first rather than swapping parts and hoping, so you’re paying to fix the cause instead of chasing the symptom.

Because we’re a full-service pool builder as well as a repair company — with a Certified Pool Contractor and a Certified General Contractor on the team, under License #CPC1460777 — there’s no repair we have to hand off. A pump replacement, a suspected underground leak, a cracked skimmer, damaged decking, or a structural issue all get handled by the same company, which means no finger-pointing between contractors and no waiting while someone else fits you into their schedule. We’ll explain what failed, what it will take to fix it, and whether a repair or a replacement is the smarter use of your money — including when the honest answer is the smaller job. To get on the schedule, call our dedicated service and repair line at 239-443-0548.

All of them! Pumps and motors, filters, heaters and heat pumps, salt chlorine generators, automation and control systems, pool and spa lighting, plumbing and valves, skimmers, leaks, and surface, tile, and coping damage. Because we also build and renovate pools, we can take on repairs that cross into structural, deck, or permitting work — the jobs that repair-only companies typically have to refer out.

Some water loss is normal in Florida — evaporation is real, especially in summer. The simple at-home check is a bucket test: fill a bucket with pool water, set it on a step so it's partly submerged, mark the water level inside the bucket and outside on the pool wall, then compare after 24 hours with the pump running normally. If the pool drops noticeably more than the bucket, you likely have a leak. Other signs include soggy or sinking spots around the deck, a jump in your water bill, or an auto-fill that runs constantly. Call us and we'll locate it.

Yes. We repair equipment regardless of who installed it or which brand it is. We're a Hayward Preferred Builder and know that line especially well, but our technicians work across the major manufacturers. If you inherited a pool with an older or mixed setup, that's a common situation and not a problem.

Often, yes. Persistent water problems that don't respond to chemicals usually trace back to something mechanical — a failing pump, a clogged or worn filter, a salt cell at the end of its life, poor circulation, or a return line issue. Adding more chemicals to a pool that isn't circulating properly is money spent on the symptom. We'll check the system, find what's actually failing, and fix it.

Call our dedicated service and repair line at 239-443-0548, email Sales@BlueWaterPoolsConstruction.com, or request a quote through this site. It helps to have a few things handy: what you're seeing or hearing, any error codes on the heater or control panel, roughly how old the equipment is, and the brand if you know it. Photos of the equipment pad are genuinely useful — send them along and we'll often arrive with the right parts already on the truck.
